The hospital has a well-equipped surgical suite, where we use the safest anesthetics available. Anesthetized pets can be monitered by pulse oximetry technology. In cases of c-sections or critical patients, they may recover in an incubator. |

PREVENTIVE MEDICINE
Part of a long, healthy and rewarding relationship with your pet includes learning what is in the best interest of your pets health.
Most pets are healthy but subtle changes are occuring that might cause problems later on. If risks are managed now they won't become advanced disabilities.
Throughout the lifetime of your pet we will carry out a program to promote your pets wellness. This includes behavioral counseling, parasite control, routine vaccinations, nutritional guidance, exercise, grooming and dental care. |

LABORATORY
Our high tech laboratory allows us to provide in house pre-anesthetic or critical patient blood testing. We also perform routine parasitology, cytology and urinalysis. A large part of the Laboratory staffs' job is providing in hospital heartworm testing, this is now a year-round option. |

DENTISTRY
The hospital offers routine dental prophylaxis for dogs and cats. The latest in ultrasonic cleaning is available for your pets teeth and gum care.
Your pets oral health can be managed best by frequent removal of plaque and checking for reddened gums, loose teeth or swelling of any kind. Along with routine dental examinations we can reduce your pets risks of periodontal disease.
The Doctors can show you how to use a tooth brush or soft cloth for plaque removal at home. We carry a wide assortment of toothbrushes and flavors of pet toothpastes. |

BOARDING
Boarding is available for dogs and cats.
Dogs are kept in indoor runs and walked outdoors three times daily. They are all supplied with blankets to sleep on, food, water and lots of attention.
Cats are kept in kennels in a seperate room, they are supplied with blankets, litter boxes, food and water
and TLC.
Fees are: dogs up to 35 lbs $14.50/day
dogs 35 lbs and over $15.50/day
cats $13/day
Fees are charged on a day in/ day out basis. Pets picked up before 9:30am are not charged for that day. |

Ultrasound Imaging
We offer state of the art ultrasound imaging. This is an excellent diagnostic application for locating tumors in the abdominal cavity and organs such as the liver, kidneys and spleen. It is also used for pregnancy detection and fetal monitoring. |

Less Pain- the laser seals nerve endings as it moves through the tissue.
Less Bleeding- the laser seals small blood vessels, which also results in quicker procedures.
Less Swelling- only laser light comes in contact with the tissues, causing minimal swelling.
